The NSW Government is providing funding for eligible candidates which will significantly reduce the costs of your training.

What’s the cost?

The SIS30413 Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation normally costs up to $7500pp with the NSW funding you will only pay a fraction, this includes your SCUBA diving training from open water, advanced, deep, night, rescue, navigation, divemasters and more!

There are 2 funded options available; you can sign up for a traineeship or you can simply apply a full qualification. Student fees are based on individual basis as stipulated by the Government.

What is involved in Certificate III Outdoor Recreation (SCUBA dive)

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to participate and be competent in planning, guiding and managing outdoor recreation activities such a snorkelling tours and Scuba dives. You will learn skills to respond in emergency situations, interpret weather conditions, undertake risk analysis and so much more.

There are no pre requisites for this course however students are required to be medically fit, able to swim and tread water. This course combines online, classroom and practical assessments in the classroom and the outdoors. Assessments will be based on written and oral questioning and practical observations.
